Great place to watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July. Food is great, bar was packed but, the bartender managed to minimize the wait time.

During a recent visit, my parents took me here for lunch, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We ordered their a Red Special Burger, Classic Caesar salad, and Spicy Ahi Tacos. All three dishes were very good. My burger was terrific and I chose the side salad, which was crammed in a little dish which made it difficult to navigate/mix up. I felt it could have used more ingredients--some additional tomatoes, cucumbers, or croutons would have been nice. We would have liked to sit outside, but it was a bit too warm that day. Inside, the atmosphere was a little noisy, probably due to the golfers who had just finished a round of drinking, I mean a round of golfing. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it and return.

I had no idea the resort housing Red existed, but it was beautiful. As you go in through the gated hill on your way to Red, you'll come across a spacious parking lot and giant driving range, setting the done for a nice escape in true resort fashion. Red is further down as you make your way through the entrance, with an inside seating area and bar, as well as an outside seating area with a view of the surrounding canyons and pool-like area. We were there for lunch as part of a post-wedding rehearsal and had a custom menu with several delicious options to choose from. We went with the truffle fries and calamari for appetizers, and I personally chose a fish sandwich with onion rings on the side. Fries were solid, the calamari was absolutely delicious and I could personally eat it all day with its crisp factor and explosion of flavor. My fish sandwich consisted of mahi mahi, slaw, a spread of avocado, veggies, topped on ciabatta, my favorite. It was fresh, fantastic, and I'd ended up eating this very quickly. My onion rings were on par with comparable diners; crispy and flavorful. My entree was large in portion size and incredibly filling. Great ambience, service, and overall quality. A nice escape with some fun activities within the resort if you want to make a day of it. Will come back in the future.
